Rakuten Advertising, still widely known by its old name LinkShare, routes affiliate clicks through click.linksynergy.com. The publisher id sits in id, the merchant in mid, and the destination in murl. On the merchant page the click shows up as ranMID, ranEAID and ranSiteID.
- murl is the URL-encoded destination — decode it to see the real target.
- ranEAID on a merchant URL is the publisher id, so those parameters mean an affiliate click was recorded.
- u1 is the publisher's own sub-id for splitting reporting by placement.
